Lucas Arts Press Release About KOTOR MMORPG?
Lucas Arts and Bioware will be collaborating on a project described as "an interactive entertainment product."
Given the recent leak about a KOTOR MMORPG, it stands to reason that the product referenced should likely be this project. More importantly, the press release makes mention of Lucas Arts and Bioware jointly publishing the game. Let's hope that remains the case and they don't decide to farm it out to a company like Sony where it can possibly be ruined much like Star Wars: Galaxies.
Also included in the press release is a new web site where you can sign up for a Bioware account to stay informed about upcoming news about this joint venture. The new website is www.lucasartsbioware.com.

I certainly hope this press release is about a KOTOR MMORPG, but even if it isn't, I can't really complain about Lucas Arts and BioWare collaborating on a new game. I've really enjoyed many of the products that both companies have previously produced, like Neverwinter Nights and Star Wars Galaxies (which was a really good game until Sony killed it). So, even if we don't see a KOTOR MMORPG out of this cooperative effort, we'll definitely see a good game.

This is the greatest news ever. I seriously hope they are collaborating on the KOTOR MMORPG. Although I'm sure any game they come up with will be great, I love the KOTOR franchise and think Bioware's experience in MMORPGs should ensure that the latest addition to it matches the first two.
Hi! I came over from NaBloPoMo. I'm challenging myself to comment on as many blogs as possible this month. I'm really new to the whole MMO scene. (I play FFXI currently.) But, I've heard really great things about KOTOR. Would be really interesting if they did make it an MMO.

I'm pretty excited about the possibility of a KOTOR MMORPG as well. I've enjoyed both of the games, so far. I'll keep everyone posted on any info I find about what this project is or if a KOTOR MMORPG really is in the works.
