Pluggy
Recently, I've been using a Digg-like service called Pluggy. It's part of Blogsrecord.com and works pretty much exactly like Digg except it is designed solely for blog posts. You submit a blog post to Pluggy in the same manner you would at Digg and members can vote it either up or down.
I think it is a rather nice idea but is very underused. I think it could be a great place to discover new and interesting posts if more people were using it. So, I decided to do some Plugg-ing of my own and make more people aware of this rather nice site.
The interface is clean and simple to use. Submitting a post is extremely easy. They offer a direct bookmarklet for post submission. Using that bookmark will open a new window from the site you are currently on and have the post url and title already pre-filled in the submission form. All that is left is to enter a description for the post and a category and it's ready for submission.
If nothing else, it provides another location to advertise your posts, providing a little extra linkage and some boost to traffic. More readership is always the goal for bloggers, so why not take a few seconds and serve your next post up to Pluggy?

This looks rather interesting. I need to play with it, but it looks much less intimidating than Digg is.
These kind of sites are definitely those we bloggers look forward to.
But the world has become so busy that no one has really ample time to review other's posts to help them grow. That's an important reason why social bookmarking sites like Digg,Delicious have become popular.
Bloggers, themselves have to create a community - reviewing others to get their posts reviewed.....
Yes, but that can be really difficult on a site like Digg. There are already so many users to a site like Digg that it can be overwhelming to actually develop a community there. It's doable, certainly, but requires an equal amount of effort as promoting a specific site like Pluggy. At least with this site, all of the users are bloggers, so the community is already there.
Yo!.
That's nice.....I joined the community..:)
