Hello again

Well, so it's been over a year since I have done anything with this blog and I'm sure if any of you were past regular readers (there aren't any left, right?) you are exceedingly surprised to see a new post. I am too.

When I was last maintaining this blog I was trying, rather unsuccessfully, I might add, to do a post every day. At first, this wasn't a very difficult task and for a few months, I believe, I maintained that kind of pace or very near it. Eventually, that kind of wore me out and I found that I was finding the task of updating the blog to be more of a chore than fun. Of course, shortly after that point, I stopped doing anything with it at all.

I don't think much has changed in this regard since then, except that I will not place any expectations upon myself. If I decide to write a post, great. Otherwise, don't expect too much.

So, expect to see some changes soon as I begin to clean up the blog and update some things...if I feel up to it, of course.

I've had some changes in my work-life that has been rather positive and as a result, I'm not nearly as busy every day as I have been in the past. So, I've been enjoying activities - mostly gaming - that I haven't been able to enjoy as much in the past. We have a wonderful vacation planned for next week and I may well post about that when I return - maybe post some cool pics of the west coast.

So, here's to hoping that I can return to the joy I once found in sharing a little bit about myself and the things going on in the world with others.
