Vacation!
Saturday the family leaves for a vacation to California. It will be the first time I have been to California and the first time I have ever flown. Yeah, I know, if you do the math, I'm 32 and haven't ever flown before in my life. It's not for lack of a desire to fly, but rather a lack of opportunity. In fact, I'm really excited about finally getting to take a flight.
We are traveling to visit my wife's family, mostly, but also plan to do some typical sightseeing, as well. After all, how could I travel across the country without at least doing some touristy things. We are going to Sacramento for the family (and probably some sightseeing there, too) but also San Francisco. Admittedly, I'm more excited about San Francisco than Sacramento.
I have everything set up, I believe, to be able to blog while on the trip. So, with any luck, I'll be able to post updates throughout the trip. I look forward to sharing some cool pictures and tales of my journey.
